Phillip A. Braziel, II was educated in the Palm Beach County School District. He is a graduate of Lake Worth High School (Class of 1994) where he was selected as Milky Way Scholar for excellence in academics and athletics along with other honors. He received his B.S. Degree in History from Florida A & M University of Tallahassee, Florida. He furthered his education by receiving a Masters and Specialist Degree in Education Leadership from Phoenix University. He began his career as an educator in Tallahassee as a math instructor. He returned home to teach History and coach varsity basketball and football at Lake Worth High. He then moved to the Atlanta area and taught History and served as Discipline Coordinator. He is now in his eighth year as the Assistant Principal of South Atlanta High School. He was selected as “Teacher of the Year” for South Atlanta School of Health and Medicine. Phillip A. Braziel, II has received many other honors throughout his academic career and has been a major part of mentoring programs for young men in high school in the Atlanta Public Schools
